Both math classes are continuing to work in Chapter 3, the Pythagorean Relationship. Students should have completed pages 92-94 and 99-100 for Thursdays class.
Continued practise using the Pythagorean relationship, squares and square roots would be beneficial as there will be a test December 15th for both classes.

Language Arts 7D and 7C
Students have completed some fantastic looking book reports. I look forward to reading them this weekend:) Today or tomorrow each student will present their book report to a group of their peers. There were some lively discussions around the reports presented today! Great job.
Next week has the class starting a novel study, Killing Mr. Griffin by Lois Duncan. I will be reading the novel to the class and the students will be required to do activities that go along with the book. If your child is absent, there are chapters available for them to take home and catch up on what is missed during class.
